INFORMATION ON CHROMIUM A.A.C.

Chelated chromium is an essential mineral consisting of chromium bonded chemically with amino acids, to form "complexes". The body needs chromium in trace amounts, and by combining it with amino acids, absorption of the mineral is enhanced.

Chromium is used to regulate metabolic processes and considered essential in helping the body metabolize fat, protein and carbohydrates.

Evidence has shown that chromium can improve insulin sensitivity and lower glucose levels, helpful for people with type 2 diabetes and insulin resistance.

Its benefits may include lowered blood sugar, lowered blood cholesterol, decreased body fat and decreased appetite with more recent studies showing chromium helpful in improving body composition, reducing fat and increasing lean muscle mass.

How it works:

Chromium assists sugar metabolism by helping insulin bind with living cells in the body to deliver glucose or blood sugar to that cell's receptors.

By improving the way the body uses insulin it regulates and might keep sugar levels normal.
